Borders: Shadowlake Towne Center

11.4.09

Went to Borders with Rodney yesterday, after his practice. It has been for sometime now since the last time I went. I usually go there about once a week. It is my favorite place, after all. Got photos, but they are limited.

This is only a section of the Mangas, there's like 4 other sections.

I thought this was really cool. It's one of those Watchmen cardboard things where they sell the posters. I haven't seen the movie so I'm not sure what's he suppose to be. He looks like a villian.
I like how the clothes looked real in this photo, or someone put on a costume. The head looks flat though. It's just a piece of cardboard afterall.
These are cute, didn't purchased it though.
This is actually a guy. Not familiar with the magazine so I can't really say anything about it.

Pockies are soo good. Sadly, didn't buy any.
These have the weirdest emotic titles. Well, I think that's the whole point.

This is the book I really wanted. Scottie/Jynx hasn't let me borrow his yet since Rachel/Jijo have it during the spring break. Why don't I buy my own? I'm broke... I've got no money, or a job. So I guess, I have to live with what my guardians give me. =]]
I was watching out of my window, and saw these men. Well, for the past 2 weeks I've been living next to the golf course, I learned one thing, golfers could be funny when they think nobody is watching them. A little twist of the head, and a drop of a second ball and yell out "IT'S HERE!"
Well, not really sure how to play the sport, so tell me if I'm wrong, but I'm sure they wouldn't look suspicious.

Le Projec De Francaise - CAR Project

9.4.09

We had our French project due before Spring Break, (basically last week Friday was the deadline) and we had about, I wanna say roughly 5-6 weeks to work on it. Last semester, since we knew we’ll have this project, my bestfriend Leanna, who is in French III, and I wanted to do something with music, (or I think it was just me). I had to play the guitar, while she sings in French in Front of the whole class. However, that didn’t work, because David, one of our friends, wanted to do the project with us. So we decided to go to a French restaurant and eat. This was about 4 weeks before the project is due. Although, again, that didn’t work out well, because I had to be home by 6PM and Leanna and David had to attend symphony concert at 8 that Friday, we didn’t have time really. So we just went to Whole Foods, since World Market shut down, and took pictures of us and the products. Sadly, I don’t have the photos, so can’t really show them. Weeks later, we realized that the whole thing wouldn’t work out with our project, because it says in the criteria that we had to purchase a product of the target culture (which is French for us) and show their labels…. Or something like that. Apparently, none of us read it thoroughly, so we failed. >< style="mso-spacerun:yes"> David went to the French CafĂ©, so he wasn’t with us. Since my house is unavailable, we cooked in Leanna’s house. We did the cooking 2 nights before the project was due. So we were 1/3 done with our project.

Dinner

  1. French Onion Soup
  2. Croque-Monsieur
  3. Mousse Chocolat

French Onion Soup

I know... It looks disgusting, but it was surprisingly goooooooood!!! =]]

Croque-Monsieur

Mousse Chocolat

I made a mistake making the mousse chocolat... and I didn't get to taste it because I had to leave then. But I heard it was good... but rubber... RUBBER?? wtf?

And dinner is served!!

The next night, which was Thursday, I made our poster and spent my whole night on them. I was proud of my self with the results. Hehe 2/3 done.

For the last piece, we had to write an essay, and that went well for me. Fast actually. I think I’m getting used to rush nights. So that was last week

The Move

3.4.09

Well, it has been closely to three weeks since I last posted. This is the first part of my post, and I'll be writing the others to a different post, a recap. School has been ridiculously piling crap on me. (honestly, I say that almost every time I post right?? XP) actually, part of it is that blogger won’t let me upload photos faster than a turtle, they have to make things more easier, so I had this post on hold for about a week now. Anyway, last week and the week before that, left me twitching with frustration and annoyance. Luckily, that was avoided with someone's company. =]]

2 weeks ago, we've been preparing to move for the whole time. We boxed everything there were to box, and cleaned whatever there were to clean. On Wednesday, March 25, they allowed us to start dropping off our items in the new house. This was because, the new house's closing date was Friday, March 27, and our old house's closing date was the same day as well, but we have another 24 hours to take our stuff away. It was a rush.

So you know how I messed up on cutting my dog's lovely blonde coat? Yeah... well... it's fixed now... I believe. 7174 shaved her, not completely, but short enough that the chilly air outside makes her shiver, which is not so often considering her hair is usually thick.

Here's the lovely dog. Princessyyy

Anyways, ehh, the moving day. I got to skip school that Friday, which was “supposedly” a “YaY” thing for me, but I wished I went to school instead. It was tiring! I woke up at about 6:30-ish and began moving stuff into our garage, then began driving back and forth from the old house to the new house. I honestly didn’t like driving that day… but I got to take some pictures on my Friday adventure.. lali!

Here are the photos I took, and our last day in the house. I miss it a lot..

Here’s one of the trip (back and forth), and a tour to the new house. Yes it is empty, I’ll take photos again once it’s filled in. =]]

After that, we went back to work... and then went to Target and buy stuff. Yum for gooddrinks. HARHAR!
